The Gazeteler business is dying. It’s become a common belief for the American people. There are two issues with this statement. Newspapers have seen its obituary published twice before – firstly during the beginning of radio, later, a third time following the time of television’s introduction. The first time was not the case. There are hundreds of newspapers rolled off presses until today. Newspapers not only survived these innovations, but the business prospered after their emergence. It’s not unusual for newspapers to boast profits that are 15 percent or greater. Business newspapers that run weekly have often achieved profit margins of more thirty percent. The internet is the biggest threat yet for the viability of newspapers because it’s an interconnected technology that can be used for connecting and delivering various forms of media. The internet can handle audio videos, text, and audio. However, that’s not a reason to exclude newspapers from the mix.
